With a record-breaking number of entries, the Greek Hotel of the Year Awards 2025 took place on Monday, February 24, at the iconic Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation Museum, celebrating the finest in Greek hospitality.
Now in its 7th year, the prestigious awards recognized top hotels across Greece for their innovative design, commitment to sustainability, and exceptional guest experiences. This year, Athens stood out, with many of its hotels honored across multiple categories, highlighting the city’s growing presence as a world-class destination.

Among the distinguished winners, we are especially proud to see three members of Athens Urban Hotels -Dwell, The Artist Athens, and Vision Omonia- receive notable accolades, reinforcing the city’s evolving hospitality landscape.
The Artist Athens was honored with the Gold award in the “Concept Hotel” category, celebrating its innovative approach to hospitality. This boutique hotel stands out for its unique fusion of art and accommodation, offering guests an immersive experience where creativity and comfort coexist. Each space within the hotel is thoughtfully designed to reflect artistic expression, making every stay a memorable journey.

Dwell secured the Silver award in the “Urban Stay / Airbnb” category, recognizing its exceptional urban accommodations that blend contemporary design with comfort. Situated in the heart of Athens, Dwell offers guests a seamless integration into the city’s vibrant life, providing modern amenities and stylish interiors that cater to both short and extended stays.

Vision Omonia achieved the Gold award in the “Design Hotel” category, acknowledging its outstanding architectural and interior design. Located in the bustling Omonia Square, this hotel exemplifies modern aesthetics combined with functionality, providing guests with a visually captivating environment complemented by top-tier services.
