All major metropolises around the world have their own members’ clubs. From London and New York to Paris and Rome, these private spaces exist for a reason: they create communities, offer a sense of belonging, and provide environments where people can connect beyond the ordinary rhythm of the city.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to experience several of them, first while living in London, and more recently at Soho House in Rome. Some members’ clubs are clearly business-oriented, designed for meetings, networking and professional exchange. Others are shaped around creativity and culture, bringing together artists, entrepreneurs, thinkers and creators, spaces like Soho House, which have become established reference points for modern urban living. Until recently, Athens was missing a contemporary members’ club of this scale and philosophy. That has now changed.

With the arrival of House of NYNN at The Ilisian, Athens steps confidently into the global members’ club map, introducing a new way of experiencing community, wellbeing and everyday life in the city.

That is the philosophy behind NYNN, a name derived from the Greek word “Νυν” meaning “Now”, placing emphasis on the present moment. NYNN is a new hospitality, entertainment and wellbeing brand that redefines everyday life through meaningful, curated experiences.

At the heart of NYNN lies wellbeing in all its expressions. The brand’s vision is to create spaces that foster connection, spaces where each experience is authentic, intentional and enriching, adding value to everyday living.

The first project of this new platform is House of NYNN, which opened last summer at The Ilisian, Athens’ new multi-dimensional destination. Designed as a contemporary members’ club, House of NYNN is a space that keeps you balanced while encouraging movement, interaction, creativity and coexistence.
