This is the first hotel in Athens to offer dinner in an igloo with an Acropolis view!

Hotel rooftops, with the tables where guests can enjoy a refreshing cocktail or gourmet dishes against the backdrop of the starlit sky and the urban landscape are a magical summer experience. In the winter, most of the design hotels and restaurants housed on the rooftop tend to close. But have you ever wondered why hotel rooftops are open only during the warmer months? Wouldn’t be great if there was a way for guests to enjoy the mesmerizing view of Athens even when the weather is cold?

Design has found the answer to this difficult question with “Let’s Bubble” project. In short, the specially designed, igloo-shaped bubbles provide protection from the cold by offering, at the same time, unobstructed view of the city and its monuments through the transparent material. The idea of the project was given by hotel guests who wanted to enjoy their drink at the rooftop of Neoma despite the cold weather. Soon, the hotel owner drew inspiration from a trip he had made abroad and just like that, at the end of February, three amazing igloos arrived on the rooftop of Noema!

Each igloo can host from two to six people. Both hotel guests and customers of Neoma Rooftop Restaurant can enjoy their coffee, cocktail or a signature dish from the tasteful menu, with the view of the Parthenon every afternoon or evening. Moreover, the temperature inside the bubbles can be regulated by visitors themselves who live an otherworldly experience of great tastes, amazing views and ultimate privacy at the bubbles of Neoma Rooftop, whatever the weather!

Indulge in the creative and gourmet Greek tastes of Neoma Rooftop. There is an à la carte menu with dishes of the creative Greek cuisine. Visitors can find a rich variety of classic choices, such as pasta with local ingredients, papardelle with kavourma from Kerkini and Manoura cheese from Sifnos Island, shrimp orzo with bisque and ouzo coulis. Of course, there are also amazing meat choices, from kebabs and burgers to beef cheeks with artichoke puree, mushroom sauce and hazelnuts!
