Stepping into the brand new Athens Icon Collection which opened June 19th, I was immediately captivated by its innovative concept that seamlessly integrates a boutique hotel with a vibrant culinary and cultural hub on the ground floor.
Located on one of Athens’ most central streets, this two-floor gem resides within a striking neoclassical building, enhancing the neighborhood’s historical charm.
The neoclassical building (1905) itself serves as a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the charm of both the hotel and the agora below.
The hotel, a part of the Athens Icon Collection brand, reflects a commitment to blending heritage with contemporary comfort. As I explored the beautifully designed interiors, characterized by a harmonious blend of white and black hues, I couldn’t help but appreciate the serene ambiance that enveloped the space.
The spacious suites, adorned with modern amenities and offering views of the vibrant agora or the serene neighborhood, provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration.
One of the highlights of my visit was experiencing the bustling agora concept on the ground floor. Here, a curated selection of restaurants, cafes, and street food vendors offered a delightful array of culinary delights. From freshly brewed coffee to savory street food bites, the agora’s lively atmosphere will add an extra dimension to my stay at Athens Icon Agora.
