LOCATION

The Gem Society Boutique Hotel & Spa is conveniently located within walking distance from the city’s most prominent attractions. Guests can easily access the city’s coolest neighborhood (Αgias Eirinis, Kolokotroni) as well as its most renowned landmarks, such as the Acropolis, Monastiraki, Plaka, Syntagma, and more.

DESIGN

Originally built in 1932, the building served as corporate headquarters until recently. Fully renovated, with style and comfort being its guiding principles, consideration to history can be seen throughout the hotel, where many original features have been safeguarded. The new interior is minimal and effortless, yet chic and detail-oriented, imparting visitors with a sense of subtle, uncompromising luxury.

ROOMS

35 rooms & suites. Simple luxury, peacefulness and a modern experience best describe the 35 immaculate rooms and suites; all have been fitted with custom made furniture designed with the determined traveller in mind. For maximum comfort, the rooms also feature double soundproof windows. A walk-in rainfall shower in a partially open bathroom is designed to maximize space and light.

OUR FAVOURITE ROOM
The Signature Suite (51 m²) is the perfect choice for a romantic retreat. It is also spacious enough for a larger family or a group of friends, as well as an excellent choice for business guests who require a luxury pied-à-terre.
HIGHLIGHT: the freestanding bath overlooking the green patio and the private terrace with an Acropolis view!

BREAKFAST

Every morning, the heavenly smell of freshly-baked bread and pastries lingers in the air, inviting you to enjoy a mouthwatering breakfast. Brunch at the Muse Bistro is also quite the affair - and is served all day long.

FOOD & DRINK

Muse Bistro’s kitchen can best be described as hip and fun, but with a generous dash of seriousness! Inspired by traditional Greek cuisine, and making full use of the abundance of fresh local produce, Chef Themis and his team pair mediterranean flavours and classic dishes with modern flair. All dishes are made-in-house, with all-around devotion to tasty and hearty nutrition. Muse bistro is ideal for a quick brunch, an afternoon coffee or even an aperitivo just before a delectable dinner from the à la carte menu.

WELLNESS

Almaz Spa is an underground oasis of calmness and rejuvenation. Soothingly decorated, it features a stone-built hammam, a custom built Cycladic-inspired jacuzzi and 3 private treatment rooms. TIP: Check the treatment menu signed by the premium Greek brand Apivita, as well as the customised offers, such as side-by-side massages and champagne, signature spa sessions, alongside tailored packages for private parties.

• Situated at the entrance of the hotel, The Gem Society boutique showcases a rich selection of items: Greek designers’ creations, artisan products and Greek memorabilia, all created by local designers and craftspeople.
• Great attention has been paid to sleep, with high-quality bedding, sumptuous mattresses and plump pillows (with a menu to choose from).
• In the past, the building housed a bank, therefore many elements have been respectfully preserved, such as the door of Almaz Spa, which used to be the bank vault safe gate.
