An unparalleled... hybrid accommodation model

The VISION OMONIA is the first accommodation project of many more to come, according to Amir Mamou's aspiration when it comes to visiting Athens. The philosophy of “Vision-Hosts of Superior Living” is as simple as it gets. An accommodating variety in the heart of the Hellenic capital. The Vision Omonia is housed in a corner edifice -previously served as an offices' building- that is literally sunbathed under the bright athenian sky. It consists of 42 rooms & suites, distinguished by their curated design. Overall relaxing -while in the centre of the capital- and luxurious -yet affordable. It offers top-notch services in an urban landscape. The Vision Omonia introduces a series of innovations both in decoration and hospitality.

LOCATION

Vision Omonia is just 200 m. from Omonia Square and less than a 5-minute walk from the Omonia Metro Station. As the second most prominent modern landmark of the Greek capital -after Syntagma Square, which is only 1.5 km away- its central location speaks for itself. The neighborhood is vibrant, offering easy access on foot to the Acropolis (2.4 km), as well as the Plaka and Monastiraki districts (1.3 km). Additionally, the city’s most important museums are within walking distance, along with two major subway stations, making it easy to explore beyond the immediate area.

DESIGN

Τhe distinctive design of Vision Omonia has been handled by Kirios Criton, a famous avant garde Greek artist and designer. He handpicked himself numerous original artworks of contemporary local artists, for each floor of this guesthouse. Hence the 7x7 gallery was created: 7 hotel floors = 7 artists. His vision was not only to present the Hellenic culture, but also to infuse the Hellenic spirit to every visitor. How? Through his “Hellenic Heritage” installation, starting from the entrance, going up to the copy of the famed Aphrodite of Milos and a blue staircase that symbolises the tint of the athenian sky. Concluding in the Atrium, where a set of prints of the Twelve Gods on aluminum panels is hanging over our heads, visible from the air shaft too.

ROOMS
All spaces are exceptionally spacious, resembling a home bedroom rather than just a temporary stay. The elegant décor and soft color palette transform the space into a relaxing paradise. Most rooms feature a balcony, while some boast stunning floor-to-ceiling glass walls, offering breathtaking city views. The thoughtful design, minimal aesthetics, and ergonomic furniture embody the globally recognized concept of Greek hospitality. If you’re traveling with family or friends, you can take advantage of rooms that extend into two sections and can even connect to an adjacent one. Additionally, some rooms feature a luxurious “His & Hers” double walk-in shower.

OUR FAVOURITE ROOM

Undoubtedly, the most superior room here is the angular Acropolis Studio that comes along firstly with an exceptional view to the Acropolis, the Lycabettus Hill and Omonia square with its modern fountain. This compartment of 40 sq.m., is a double-spaced suite consisting of a living room and a bedroom. It can accommodate up to 4 persons due to the double bed and the sofa that turns into a bed. Even so, it still remains a comfortable and spacious place. Imagine yourself enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony in the afternoon, gazing at the urban view.

BREAKFAST

Is served in the rooftop with a buffet will a variety of gold & hot dishes with extra cost (this accommodation will be held up to the time the Benedict will be operating-around May 2025.

RESTAURANT-BAR

Although not yet operational, an all-day brunch restaurant is expected to open on the ground floor of the lodge, before summer 2025. It will belong to the world-renowned Israeli restaurant chain Benedict. Named after the famous “eggs Benedict”, these restaurants specialize on breakfast, that is being served all day long. The Benedict Breakfast Εxperience is a style of meal, not a type depending on hour. Quoting their own words: Not “WHEN you eat”, but “WHAT” you eat. Note that the restaurant is going to have two entrances, internal and external, since it will additionally be open to non-guests. Evidently breakfast is going to be served here as well!

ROOFTOP

On the rooftop you may dive into the 32 sq.m. infinity swimming pool. The contemporary design of this floor will help you relax and enjoy the unobstructed view over the roofs of the capital: admire the Acropolis as well as the Lycabettus Hill. But you might have to go up there early due to the limited number of sunbeds.

APARTMENTS

One of the main aspects underlining the uniqueness of "Vision-Hosts of Superior Living" is the presence of VISION APARTMENTS. Exemplary mingling of the idea of hospitality and real estate. They are scattered around the city, some closer and others further from the central lodging. Five of them are located right next to the hotel building, in fact only a party wall separates them. •Forget the traditional hotel mini bar and pre-order your own through the Vision app! In case you don't consume it, remember you 've been charged for it!

•Owing to the centrality of the hotel in the capital, the surroudings may seem a bit rough. But the avenue on the one side of the building is fully lighted by night. In truth things are getting better, due to the fact that many hotels keep opening in the area.

•Depending on booking dates you might be eligible for a genius discount!

•As the hotel is family friendly, in addition to its spaciousness, it has some adjacent rooms which are interconnected and may come handy. In the event that you are a big family, benefit from the spaciousness of the Two Bedroom Suite that even has two en suite bathrooms.

•Take advantage of the gym, on complimentary access for all, if you want to keep up with your daily workout.

•Even in the compartments with no external view, there is a window to the air shaft. The artistic print of the 12 Gods, illuminated by night there, is impressive.

•The hotel has its own sustainability policy program regarding environmental awareness (recycling & food waste reduction policy, use of recyclable products and many more).

•You may equally plan your meeting in the conference room, that can host up to 20 people.

•The rooms are all quite large & comfortable, even the standard ones, especially for a city hotel.

•Accessibility is restricted to an elevator that can fit a wheelchair for disabled guests to use, as well as a WC of equivalent size.

•The helpful staff may offer handy tips on the area around the hotel, where you can profit from hip restaurants and bars.

•To some extent it is expected that there will be some noise, since the hotel is located on one of the busiest streets downtown.
