But before its transformation into a boutique hotel, this building on Poliklitou St. had a story woven into its very fabric. “As we embarked on the journey of creating Athens 4, our vision was not only to offer a sanctuary for travelers but also to breathe new life into a neighborhood steeped in history,” said the owners. Inspired by the efforts of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Municipality of Athens to revitalize the commercial triangle, they wanted to be active participants in this remarkable program.

THE VIVSION

Nestled on Poliklitou St., named after a renowned sculptor of ancient Greece, this building bore witness to the evolution of commerce in Athens. Originally the home of MODA SA, a textile company crafting custom-made clothing, it stood as a testament to the city’s industrious spirit. However, as consumer trends shifted and ready-made apparel gained popularity, MODA SA and similar businesses faded into obscurity.
Choosing this building was more than a business decision; it was a commitment to preserving its heritage and contributing to the revitalization of the neighborhood. Drawing inspiration from its past, the founders meticulously restored its beauty, infusing every corner with a blend of tradition and modernity.
