Three friends, Manos Konstantinou, Nikos Manioudakis and Artin Artinian decided to implement their common vision: to be the first to introduce a brand-new –for that time- hotel category into the Athens hotel industry; boutique hotels, like the ones met from Paris to New York, fully focusing in urban aesthetics and personalized comforts promising an unforgettable stay in the heart of the city.
“At first we had to find a worthy space. So, we discovered the iconic 100-year-old neoclassical building in Rallis Arcade, standing out for its atrium with the secret corners and the plants, which once used to house luxury apartments owned by bourgeois immigrants that had arrived in Athens” says Mr. Konstantinou
Among its highlights is also its location, as it stands majestically near Syntagma Square (on Souri Street), hidden from the sight of passers-by and the hustle and bustle of the center. Its reconstruction was taken on by the office of architect Aris Sotovikis and Stoa Architects.

In its 21 rooms and lobby, the modern, minimalist design, the geometrical shapes and natural materials such as steel, greek marble, stone and wood, as well as the shades of white, black and grey are paramount. In[n] Athens has managed to be easily established among the hotels in Athens and attracts guests from all over the world, thanks to the homey atmosphere of its rooms (soon to be 40!) and its unique design. Each room features high-quality bath amenities, while the hotel services are fully adapted to guest experience, such as the vegan needs covered by the breakfast buffet and brunch menu, and many more.

In 2019, In[n] Athens becomes more mature and reveals its more extrovert side, as Manos Konstantinou points out. “That was when we decided to expand the hotel with 16 more rooms, housed in the new modern building overlooking the vibrant square of the Russian-Orthodox church on Souri Street, ideal for those seeking to enjoy the intense vibes of the city, with all the comforts offered in the rooms of the 1st building”.
The new common space after the expansion
Right before 2023, In[n] Athens reveals its biggest surprise; its highly minimalist bistro, with a relaxing Rallis Arcade on its one side and the promenade of Souri Street on the other. Here, the presence of marble, steel, and modern and tailor-made furnishing and cozy sitting areas feels like a natural extension of the hotel.
Every day, from 07:30 until 11:00, guests and passers-by have the chance to enjoy a homemade breakfast with aromatic coffee and drinks, as well as super foods, freshly-baked bread and sweets from the buffet. Besides, the small brunch menu available focusing, on several needs, such as vegan raw materials.
One thing is certain; this all-day bistro will charm both guests and locals. As the day goes by, it transforms into a hangout, ideal for a relaxing break from work or shopping offering coffee and snacks (12:00-17:00), while from 17:00 until 23:00, it serves comfort tastes, wines from Greek, Europe and New Zealand. Last but not least, its signature cocktail list, with its cocktails, colour and even the coaster on which they are served named after a different type of Greek marble!
